Welcome to Markus Morandell's Ötztal Mountain School! As the founder and director of the Ötztal Mountain School, I offer training courses, summit tours and high-alpine hikes for individuals and only in small groups. I personally lead all tours and courses. Other mountain guides are only called in in exceptional cases and by prior arrangement. This guarantees you personal and individual support during tours, as well as competent, systematic training for beginners and experts.

The Ötztaler Alps are the perfect example of highly alpine scenery for many mountain friends. The possibilities for the walking, climbing, mountaineering, ice climbing and ski tours in this varied and magnificent mountain group are infinite. Alone the whole enclosing glacier surface of 300 km ² with 256 3-thousand mark notes speaks for itself. The striking wild point with her 3.768 m, as the highest and probably best known mountain of the Ötztaler Alps, would be mentioned only as one of many worthwhile purposes beside many other. Around you this miraculous nature - and to give an understanding of mountain experiences with big experience and circumspection checked mountain guides and ski leaders are available to you in our mountain sport steeped in tradition and experience school of Sölden - without exception by the state. We offer not only guidances in the Ötztaler Alps, of course we are on the move in the whole Alpine space as a leader.
