A real party marathon: Electric Mountain Festival week from 02 to 04 April in Sölden. Some program changes due to illness brought a different line-up but nevertheless thousands of passionate fans celebrated the end of a musical winter - glorious sunshine and powder snow included!
On nine days during the entire 2012/13 winter season, the ultimate Electric Mountain Festival held in Giggijoch's Funzone was the absolute Heartbeat when it comes to electronic dance music. Among the headliners performing on the high Alpine stage: DJ Tom Novy, cult rapper Cro, Klangkarussell, The Disco Boys, Lexy & K-Paul plus varied participants in the EMF DJ Contest. Probably one of the world's highest DJ turntables!
At the great EMF Finals a true marathon program was scheduled, opened by the electro-house specialists Tube & Berger, Juliet Sikora and Wild Culture live on stage. Followed by the Saarlander producing duo AKA AKA (Stil vor Talent/Berlin) who insisted on hitting the ski slopes first! Party people and skiing aficionados could enjoy perfect snow conditions. On day three the program had to be changed at short notice.
Both DJ Hardwell and Nicky Romero had to cancel their live shows in Sölden due to illness - fortunately another star was on the spot: "Smile" DJ Mike Candys took over the turntables on Giggijoch and started a marvelous dance session together with the winners of the EMF DJ Contest. On this day about 4,000 fans and visitors followed the ultimate Electric Mountain Festival Finals in Sölden. Spring-like temperatures and a unique Alpine backdrop included.
