With a superb lineup of international top DJs such as the two headliners Robin Schulz and Lost Frequencies, the Heart beat of the Alps once again attracted thousands of music lovers to the ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL. The vibrating epicenter of action was the Giggijoch Fun Zone at 2300 m altitude. In addition to fine tunes from the DJ mixing console, sports aficionados and music lovers could take full advantage of perfect slope conditions with up to one meter of fresh snow.
Sölden's ultimate blend of sports and top entertainment not only convinces winter sports enthusiasts but also megastars like German DJ Robin Schulz. At this year's ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL he has performed already for the second time in Ötztal. "Again the atmosphere was really great in Sölden. Despite the weather conditions, it was a lot of fun and the visitors were great," Schulz explained after his show, adding that the open-air location in all its facets significantly contributes to the special atmosphere. The 7,500 fans calmly enjoyed the sudden onset of winter on the first day by transforming the festival area into a huge party zone. This was confirmed also by the Dutch musician R3HAB: "My first performance in Sölden was just unbelievable and a really cool experience."
Snow, Sunshine and an Excellent Mood
On the second day of the festival about 10,500 people flocked to the Sölden ski area to witness the live concerts of superstar Lost Frequencies, Laidback Luke and Martin Jensen. Also the Belgian DJ Felix de Laet aka Lost Frequencies visited Ötztal for the umpteenth time. Last autumn he tried and tested Western Austria's first wakeboard facility in the AREA 47, this year he conquered the festival stage at Giggijoch and celebrated his personal premiere on the snowboard. Also DJ Martin Jensen from Denmark will always remember his show. "The mountain views are really fabulous. I am very lucky to play in such a fantastic Alpine ambience," states Jensen who also paid a visit to the 007 ELEMENTS James Bond Adventure World the day after.
Sölden Influencers
The international top DJs enthused both the local fans and millions of supporters in the social networks. Either with the Austrian national flag in front of thousands of fans along with the impressive Alpine winter scenery, on the slopes while snowboarding or in the Action Hall of 007 ELEMENTS: The posts reached users around the globe.
Excellent Conditions
If some fans of the DJs want to indulge in winter sports they can enjoy perfect conditions until late April in Sölden. Thanks to the amount of fresh snow last week, superb powder slopes are guaranteed in April. The glacier's snow depth is an enormous five meters.
