10 years of Flow, Fun & Friends
In 2025, the Bike Republic Sölden will celebrate its 10th state anniversary. That's reason enough to celebrate the flowiest nation in the alpine region and its citizens! No sooner said than done: instead of the Bike Opening, we will join the ultimate BRS Birthday Party from 19 to 22 June 2025 with drums, trumpets and a marvelous program, including our iconic BRS Rally. Celebrate 10 years of Flow, Fun & Friends together with us!
Highlights & Timetable
Marvel at spectacular MTB shows, improve your biking skills, hit the lines together with bike pro Korbi Engstler, try your hand at the contests or just enjoy the live music - as the program is truly varied and extensive. Bikeflip Show
Created by Fabio Wibmer and Andrea Maranelli, the Bikeflip Show mixes elements of freestyle, trial and BMX to create a very special "stage play" - you definitely shouldn't miss it, because in addition to daring bike acrobatics, there are giveaways and the opportunity for autographs and selfies! Elia Benetton (Italian BMX Champ in 2023 and 2024), Francesco Mongillo and MTB trial pro Samuel Dikan will be there, too (Note: Fabio Wibmer will not be on site).

Biking technique courses for adults & kids
This is at the top of the bucket list for all MTB fans: a biking technique course. The local bike schools will show you how to improve your skills on the bike - whether on the beginner-friendly pump track or on the lines and trails of the Republic.

Ride out with bike pro & flow master Korbi Engstler
When do you ever get the chance to master a few trails together with a bike pro and learn something at the same time? Not very often! Take the chance and join us when flow master and BRS ambassador Korbi Engstler invites you to the ultimate Ride Out on Sunday morning, 22 June.

Culinary stalls: local street food
For us enjoyment doesn't end on the lines and trails: again this year,c we would like to pamper you with fine culinary stalls offering a huge choice of regional delicacies. The local gastronomy partners are putting in a lot of effort and serving individually and sustainably created dishes - that's how street food works in the Bike Republic.

Birthday Parties
Decade birthdays must of course be celebrated properly. And so you shouldn't burn all your energy on the trails during the day and save a little some for the dance moves - the following acts will rock the stage, admission is free:
Farewell Dear Ghost
The Viennese indie rock band Farewell Dear Ghost has spent the last decade creating music that is both deeply personal and universally touching. Their awards - including the FM4 Award at the Amadeus Austrian Music Awards - and over 8 million Spotify streams show the great impact of their music, but it is their stage presence that really defines them.
Dativ Lindkeks
Dativ Lindkeks is a master of variety worlds! His style is as unpredictable as it is pleasantly absurd - a creative journey that surprises from the very first moment. His DJ sets fluctuate between excessive exaggeration and pleasant restraint. House music turns him on. The moment he touches his DJ player, ideas just bubble out of him.
Siamese Elephants
Where classic ideas of the indie rock revival reach commercial limits, Siamese Elephants start cooking up their own tasty soup. Seasoned with reminiscences of garage rock, funk, disco and the best moments of British greats of the 2000s, the four Viennese present guitar music without frills - but with plenty of authenticity and a passion for the unconventional.
Dero & Klumzy
Dero & Klumzy are the Austrian DJ and producer Mr.Dero and the London MC and singer/songwriter Klumzy Tung. What happens when one of England's most eloquent and likeable freestyle talents teams up with one of Austria's most technically and musically skilled DJs? Right, something very special. Their elaborate, artistic videos have received well over 2 million clicks and their releases with big name artists have earned them almost 1 million plays on Spotify.
Lonely Spring
Lonely Spring are three guys who have known each other since school and make music together. Their music is carried by hymn-like choruses that get stuck in your head forever after hearing them once. Underpinned by punky drums and driving basslines that make you think Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus played them themselves. The first single of the current LONELY SPRING era, 'Misfit', has already reached over 2.1 million streams on Spotify alone and more than 212k views on YouTube.
Wax Wreckaz
Wax Wreckaz are a DJ & producer team from Austria, to be precise: from Innsbruck. Their skillful, hand-made DJ sets are packed with gimmicks, live remixes and unique versions of songs that you won't hear anywhere else. Their roots are clearly in hip-hop culture, but the musical range of their sets reflects their eclectic background and results in bass-heavy sets that have already turned dance floors upside down from Munich to Managua and beyond!
Birth of a Republic: The BRS Movie
The coming-of-age story of the Bike Republic, packaged in a short film - Birth of a Republic: The BRS Movie – where we look back on the first ten years of the Alps’ flowiest nation - from the founding of the state to the expansion of the transport network and the big celebrations and festivals. After the movie premiere, we will present an oversized birthday cake on the festival stage and serve sweet delicacies.

A story you have to hear: during the panel discussion on the festival stage, those responsible for the Bike Republic Sölden will review the first decade - you can look forward to a relaxed and humorous conversation with interesting personalities and some funny anecdotes.

Events & Contests
Games are part of a proper birthday party – at least when it comes to children’s birthday parties. And because we are only ten years old, there will be varied events, contests and games on our birthday weekend.
BRS Rally
Fun-packed special competition on the saddle: for all you downhill aficionados, enduro enthusiasts and pedalo people, we have a top-notch race format ready at the Bike Republic Sölden Rally. Riders can compete in teams of 2 or 3 at the start on Gaislachkogl peak at over 3,000 meters. Equipped with a diplomatic passport, the main aim is to collect visa stamps on the rally through the entire Republic. In addition to the trail stamping points, the teams have to master special challenges with maximum grace and finesse.
BRS Birthday Games | Bunny Hööp Contest
Who can hop the highest on their bike without using a kicker? This question will be answered during the Bunny Hööp Contest. Whether you are a youngster, newbie or pro, everyone is invited to take part!

BRS Birthday Games | Bike Limbo Contest
Dance the bike limbo and prove your skill and ability: in this fun-packed competition you have to ride your bike under a horizontal bar without touching it. The bar moves further down from round to round. At the very end, the winner is the one who passes the lowest height without the bar falling down.

BRS Birthday Games | Bike Limbo Contest
The ultimate balancing act: in the Bike Obstacle Duel, you have to prove your skill, sense of balance and yes, your ability to drink quickly - at least in the adult category. You fight against your rival in a knockout duel while you have to make a Le Mans start, drink a beer and then master the obstacle course on a kid’s bike. Whoever is faster advances to the next round. There is a category for adults and children.

We would like to answer the most frequently asked questions about the BRS Birthday Party here (as best as possible).
The event site can be found in the parking area of Gaislachkogl gondola base station (Dorfstraße 115, 6450 Sölden)
We kindly ask you to park in the marked visitor parking spaces which are subject to a fee. These are located near the event site.
Parking options subject to a fee:
- Gaislachkogl gondola – multi-story parking garage
- Giggijoch gondola - multi-story parking garage & open-air car park
- Postplatz - car park in the village center
All details about parking in Sölden can be found HERE.
For example, at the campsite in Sölden or at other campsites in the valley. HERE (oetztal.com) you can find all the information about camping options within Ötztal. Friendly reminder: wild camping is not permitted in the Sölden region and the entire Ötztal and will be punished by the authorities!
Yes, admission to the event area is free of charge and everyone has the opportunity to test the exhibitors' bikes and accessories and marvel at the Bikeflip Shows. Only participation in the biking technique courses and the BRS Rally is subject to a fee.
If you are interested in one of the biking technique courses, you can register in advance online or on site at the bike school's information tent.
You can pick up your starter package on Friday, 21 June from 16:00 to 21:00 at the event site and on Saturday, 22 June from 8:00 to 9:00 directly at Gaislachkogl gondola base station.
