Slope rescue card
The slope rescue card is the ace up your sleeve for carefree skiing! It offers you comprehensive protection in the event of an accident on the piste and covers the costs of rescue and transport so that you can concentrate fully on your adventure.
What's the purpose?
It includes the free rescue and care of the casualty in the entire secured ski area of Sölden and Gurgl during regular ski operations. Transport by the piste rescue service until handover to the Red Cross or the rescue helicopter is also included. Depending on medical necessity, this transport is carried out by Akja or Skidoo. If rescue by rescue helicopter is necessary, the costs will only be covered by the piste rescue card if there is no other existing rescue insurance (subsidiarity principle).
Attention
Costs incurred for rescue transport with the Red Cross are not included and will be charged separately.
Where can you buy it?
It is available at the ticket offices when purchasing a ski pass and can also be purchased after the ski pass has already been purchased - but not after the accident has occurred. The period of validity of the piste rescue card corresponds to the duration of the ski pass (no extension possible).
