Ötztal Nature Park
EXPERIENCE AND PRESERVE
The Ötztal Nature Park comprises the entire network of protected areas in our valley. It also includes the “Silent Side” of Sölden, which is not accessible by mountain lifts. You should definitely explore this special natural area carefully and thoughtfully, for example on snowshoes in winter or on a bike or hiking trail in summer. By the way, the Ötztal Nature Park offers a guided hiking program all year round.
A MOSAIC OF HABITATS
The Ötztal Nature Park stretches from the valley floor up into alpine terrain and even further into the high alpine world of rock and ice. From the broad valley floor to the summit of Wildspitze peak at 3,774 m, the Nature Park covers many altitude levels and thus a truly varied flora and fauna as well as many different habitats and climate zones.
