Did you know that Sölden is bigger than Vienna? At least in terms of size, we are ahead of the capital in first place in Austria. Our village area extends from 1,377 m in the valley to the summit of Wildspitze at 3,768 m, the highest mountain in North Tirol. This is what we are
We are international and colorful. We are young and active, but we also like it quiet and comfortable sometimes. We are the homebase for passionate bikers and hikers, skiers and boarders, mountaineers, wellness enthusiasts and James Bond fans.
We like the altitude and long ski runs - in winter we have access to three 3,000 meter high peaks by mountain lifts (plus 144 slope kilometers) and in summer to more than 300 kilometers of hiking trails and alpine routes. And of course the Bike Republic boasting over 50 kilometers of the finest trails. Our landscape is sensational, the infrastructure is perfect and our events – from Ötztaler Cycle Marathon to Electric Mountain Festival – are truly legendary.
