For all those who are traveling with their own vehicle, we have summarized all the information on the paid parking options (daily parking spaces and short-term parking zones) here and explain why we have decided to introduce parking space management.

Day parking areas

Paid day parking is available at the Freizeit Arena Sölden (open area & car park) as well as at the Giggijoch and Gaislachkogl feeder lifts (open areas & car parks). You will also find a paid car park in the Zwieselstein district. Various tariff and payment options ensure flexibility and easy handling.

Why parking area management?

The traffic volume within Ötztal is steadily increasing from year to year. In order to counteract this trend and make a contribution to the mobility transition, car parking management was introduced. It is intended to reduce non-essential private traffic by promoting the use of public transport lines at the same time - thanks to the free Guest Card you can enjoy free travel on valley-wide public bus lines from 07.10.2024 to 05.06.2025, which run every half hour throughout the valley.

Part of the proceeds coming from car parking management is reinvested directly in valley-wide public transport in order to further improve and expand services in the future. Together we will achieve the mobility transition and thereby protect the climate – thank you for your help!
