It is the awe-inspiring three thousand meter peaks all around, the ice-packed flanks and the striking summits that attract us. The Ötztal Alps are the largest mountain region above 3,000 m in the Eastern Alps, therefore the high alpine tours are correspondingly varied and impressive - on Sölden's Silent or either Pulsating Side, using mountain lifts or not, between Brunnenkoglhaus (2,738 m) and Nederkogl (3,163 m).
