SKI SCHOOLS & SKI COURSES
FROM BEGINNERS TO FREERIDERS
Contrary to some rumors, people in Sölden are not born with boards on their feet. You can learn how to ski quickly - especially when you have excellent instructors like those in our local ski and snowboard schools or our professional guides. They offer a wide range of lessons and courses – be it for children (with special practice areas), adult (re)beginners, ambitious advanced skiers or freeriders, be it in private lessons or in a group. For beginners there are even inexpensive beginner tickets available at the Sölden mountain lifts.
Full service ski schools
Full service ski schools offer all snow sports: alpine skiing including child supervision, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, telemarking, park & pipe, ski tours and also snow sports for people with disabilities.
Specialized ski schools
Specialized ski schools, on the other hand, have specialized in certain snow sports and only teach courses in their area of expertise
One-man ski schools
One-man ski schools do not employ any other staff. It means that the courses are only run by the one person responsible.
Lessons and courses for young & old
For Minis
The very youngest guests (from 10 months) are in good hands at the kindergarten while their parents enjoy enough time on the slopes.
For children
In the children's ski schools, children aged 3 and over give skiing or snowboarding a try with playful exercises. Of course, there are our special children's courses on the program. The courses usually last 6 days and include morning and afternoon lessons. Some ski schools offer lunchtime supervision including lunch.
For adult beginners
Adult beginners are introduced to the most beautiful sport in the world in small groups using modern teaching methods. After just a few days you will feel comfortable on the blue slopes and towards the end you will also conquer red slopes if you wish.
For returners
Anyone who has not been on skis or boards for a while will quickly get used to the movement again in the special courses - and even better: learn some new techniques.
For advanced
Advanced winter sports fans get their fine-tuning from our pros and will soon be skiing or riding at an extremely high level. For freeriders, having a professional guide at your side is almost a must - in terms of safety and finding the perfect terrain.
