Our team
The team - or rather Cabinet - of the Bike Republic Sölden keeps the bike running in the Alps’ most flowing nation. Here we proudly introduce our great team.
El Presidente
Dominik Linser | Although not directly elected by the biking citizens, but still more than legitimate: the Republic's strategic mastermind has the big picture in mind - and is negotiating on a bilateral level with landowners about the progressive expansion of the national territory. Just make them an offer they can't refuse.
Foreign Minister
Marie Therese Riml | She informs the bike people about news and developments in the Republic and is also responsible for state visits, national holidays and the digitalization of the nation. She also takes care of diplomatic relations with other two-wheel destinations, lobbyists and represents the Republic at several confederation meetings.
Secretary of State
Bianca Plankensteiner | El Presidente's right hand woman is where all the threads come together. She confidently directs correspondence & contracts, manages paragraphs & presentations and ensures that all appointments & meetings are in line.
Interior Minister
Leopold Linser | Namesake of great Austrian rulers. Not from the dynasty of Habsburg, but from the flowing nation of Sölden. As a project manager, he takes care of everything that concerns lines & trails, also including construction supervision, personnel planning and overall coordination.
Transport and Safety Minister
Florian Grüner | He always keeps an eye on everything: responsible for trail signposting and line regulations in the Republic, also for checking all maintenance work, scheduling, occupational safety and the coordination of mountain rescue. And because he is so good at of this, he is also the contact person for the bike schools.
Minister of Social Affairs
Carmen Fender | Responsible for increasing the Republic's gross domestic happiness. She controls overall well-being and mutual respect of all bike citizens by government decree, but above all by example.
Ambassador
Korbinian Engstler | Trail master, trick master and honorary citizen. He is known for his unmistakable style, his jibs, drops & manuals, for his legendary performances as a flow and show master, his great hunger and his extremely, really extremely fine manner.
Minister of Transportation
Jakob Falkner | Ensures that not only wheels but also mountain lifts run in the national territory. In addition to the (mountain lift) transport of citizens, he is also responsible for commercial agendas.

... Alexandra Thammer | They look ahead, choose the perfect line and implement it at lightning speed. Our strategists make sure that the digital experience is just as smooth, exciting and next level as the downhill rides in the Republic - no one combines scrolling with rolling like they do.

The Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction is made up of experienced specialists who bring all their expertise and craftsmanship to the perfection by constantly maintaining the Republic's public transport and trail network.
