If - contrary to expectations - a cheaper price for an identical offer with the same scope of services is found on the Internet, we will refund the difference between the guaranteed best price and the verified cheaper offer. How it works

The guest has an already existing booking for an accommodation with the "Best Price Guarantee" label, which is made via an Ötztal Tourismus website (e.g. www.oetztal.com, www.soelden.com, www.gurgl.com, www.oetz.com) and can provide evidence of a cheaper alternative booking option for the same service. The comparative offer must relate to exactly the same offer (product):
- Same accommodation
- Same booking period
- Same room category
- Same food arrangement
- Same cancellation conditions
- Same check-in and check-out dates
- Bookable online
- The prices must be confirmed by the provider on request
Obligation on the part of the guest
In order to ensure the right to receive the difference amount, the guest must present evidence of the cheaper offer to Ötztal Tourismus within 24 hours after booking. In the course of this procedure, it is necessary that the guest sends an e-mail to Ötztal Tourismus (info@oetztal.com) containing the reservation or booking number and a screenshot of the website with the cheaper offer. The following must be clearly visible:
- Date of stay
- Room type
- Type of occupancy
- Food arrangement
- Cancellation conditions
- Detailed price listing
- Available services that are included in the price
- Date & time of compared offer
- Website address (URL)
Exceptions
The following offers, promotions and rates are excluded from Ötztal Tourismus Best Price Guarantee:
- Bookings made via auction websites (e.g. eBay, animod)
- Package deals that include other services such as half board, airport transfers, massages, etc.
- Bookings made via non-transparent booking platforms. Such platforms include e.g. bookings of surprise hotels or roulette, bingo or select hotels where the name of the hotel is only announced after the booking has been made
- Special prices for hotel accommodation in the form of promotions, bonus or loyalty offers (e.g. Genius Offers), group prices, conference prices, prices for members of associations or organizations, travel agency prices, media prices, employee offers or similar special offers
- Price differences resulting from exchange rates, VAT, etc.
- Price differences resulting from end-of-stay cleaning
