The unblemished truth: Sölden's mountain slopes can be quite steep. Our mountain lifts, hiking buses, hut taxis as well as the high alpine and toll roads make your way up to the mountains much easier. This way you save energy for the hikes at altitude, the summits and the refreshment stops.
Special tip: Many rides are included or reduced with the Summer Card.

Even in summer, our mountain lifts take you to Sölden’s glacier and mountain world - towards high altitude trails, peaks and mountain huts - and to 007 ELEMENTS Bond Adventure World.

Hiking buses & hut taxis
Our hut taxis and hiking buses will take you safely and comfortably to our alpine pasturelands away from Sölden’s mountain lift area.

Glacier bus
The glacier bus takes you daily to the glacier world along the highest road in the Eastern Alps (and backdrop to the chase scene of the James Bond film Spectre).

Ötztal Glacier Road
You cover 13 kilometers on the highest road in the Eastern Alps until you reach Rettenbach glacier at 2,830 meters - and if you want, you can continue through Europe’s highest road tunnel to Tiefenbachferner. It is a truly legendary route in many ways - road cyclists, for example, climb the highest point in the Alps accessible by racing bike and Bond fans remember the spectacular chase scenes filmed for the 007 movie Spectre. By the way, Bond's plane - or what's left of it - can be admired not far away in the 007 ELEMENTS Adventure World.
The Glacier Road is subject to a toll fee for private cars. The trip on the daily glacier bus is free of charge as it is included in the Summer Card.
Public bus lines
Our buses run from the valley entrance (connecting to Ötztal-Bahnhof bus & train station) to Sölden and on to Timmelsjoch and the mountaineering village of Vent.
